Simple Sunday cards...

Sitting on the sofa playing with paper scraps while watching a movie, I threw some cards together. All it takes is a punch or two and a bit of ribbon.

More fabric wreaths

I finished two more wreaths for sale at Grasshopper Gallery.

This little one is about 8" across. I didn't bother putting anything on it as I just thought it wasn't necessary. Love the country colours.
8" wreath

love the quilting cottons
This wreath has much shorter fabric ties, so I wasn't as crazy about it. I knew it needed something else to give it some punch so put on the bunting - much better. This wreath is 12" across.
Love the bright turquoise with the pink

blah - needs help

That's better!

Bling for scrapbooking class

Here is my interpretation of the 2010 March Project 12 layout. The technique we're covering in this month's class is "bling" for the class - buttons, rhinestones, brads and eyelets ALL on this layout.

I thought it was a great way to show DD's pregnancy and finally use this prego print paper I bought while she was still pregnant over a year ago. Isn't it so cute - cravings, nesting, exhausted, swollen feet!

Still have to journal - there is something special about my baby having a baby!

WHO is prego?!
date and weeks prego tags

Will type journaling to put in the green box

Eggs in a Wreath

I made this wreath with half a yard of scrap fabric and three fat quarters. Nothing more satisfying than tearing strips of fabric - wrriiiiip!  I tied strips around  a wreath form nice and tight and close together. Then added the bows to cover the seam on the eggs and tied the eggs on to the wreath. HAPPY EASTER!

Mmmm for M&Ms

I made a batch of Easter cards using SU's Sweet Treat cups this weekend. I've had this box of cups for close to a year, so decided it was finally time to use them up! All you need is a 1 3/4" punch to create the opening. I didn't bother putting in sliders for these, but there are a number of tutes out there showing you how to so you're not tearing your card open to get to those yummy M&Ms. Thanks to Eryn for finding the cute bunny face for me to mimic, love it!
Up, up and away...
Added extra M&Ms by cutting small circles - not bad.
Extra M&Ms using the stamp from SU's Sweet Somethings set - better!
